Leslie Ann Lemon

Leslie Ann Lemon was born on January 9, 1960. to the late Leroy and Lucille (Moorer) Lemon. Born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, Leslie graduated from Edmondson High School and also attended Coppin State. She gave her life to Christ at an early age. Throughout her employment history, Leslie remained committed to serving others, regardless of the position she held. Her community work experience began with the Baltimore City Police Department's PAL program, helping to build positive relationships between police officers and the youth. Leslie then took her passion for serving for serving the community from the streets to the kitchen as a part of the amazing night shift at Pocopico's Restaurant. Next, Leslie's love for serving the public transitioned to Giant Foods, where her smiling face greeted the community from behind the deli counter for well over a decade. After many years of sharing her light with the general public, Leslie closed out her work career serving as a desk attendant for the senior and disabled population of Abundant Life Towers One. Leslie's life work began with helping the youth, transitioned to serving all ages in between, and concluded with protecting the vulnerable; thus truly bringing her passion for protecting and serving the community full circle! Known to be a free spirit, you could always count on Leslie to find a way to enjoy herself. She met the love of her life, David Guerrier, over 40 years ago and it was evident they were destined to be (as Dave would say) "thick as thieves" for the rest of their days. When she wasn't making shrimp salad for the next family gathering or planning the annual ski trip, you would find her and Dave burning up 95 North and/or South on one of their many spontaneous road trips! Having gained his wings on April 3, 2023, Dave was surely the first one to greet Leslie at heaven's gate when she departed this earthly life on September 1, 2024. Leslie leaves to cherish her memory: a loving and dedicated sister, Marty (Purnell) Robbins; two nieces, Raymara and Turnell "Boo-Boo" Robbins; a step mother, Carlessia (Leroy) Lemon; two step-brothers, Charles (Lawanda) King and Reginald (DeShawna) King; three close friends she considered as sisters, Marlene, Faye, and Alicia; six long-term special friends of her and Dave's, Terry, Weldon, Irene, Warren, Debbie, and Jackie; two longtime special friends, Neicy (Pocopicos) and Fella; her cherished caregiver Ms. Carolyn; and a host of cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
