Lois C Wilson

LOIS CATHERINE WILSON was born on October 24, 1970, to Mr. Louis Slaughter and Carolyn Slaughter. She received her early education in the Baltimore City Public School System, and she was a proud graduate of Edmondson Westside High School. Lois had a great career and she enjoyed working at the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene prior to retiring in 2011. Lois met and married the love of her life Mr. James Wilson Jr., and they were soulmates for about 45 years. From that union they had two children Alicia Wilson and James Wilson III. James and Lois have been together since early in their childhood. Lois was an avid traveler and a dancing queen. She loved line dancing, and she loved the finer things in life such as massages, getting her hair and nails done on a regular basis, socializing with her friends and family and shopping. She really loved Mexican food. She was also very family oriented and prior to departing this life she found great pleasure in being a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Lois was saved and she really loved the Lord! She was a woman of faith, and she had a very sweet spirit. She was wise beyond her years, and she enjoyed studying the Bible. Lois lived a very full life and after battling a lengthy illness God called Lois home to be with Him on January 22, 2024. She will be remembered as a loving wife, passionate mother, Glam Ma, and a devoted follower of Christ. She was preceded in death by her father Mr. Louis Slaughter, her grandmother Ms. Rosa Midgett, aunt Tonya Midgett and cousin Brandon Dixon. She leaves a lifetime of beautiful memories to: her husband, James Wilson Jr.; mother, Carolyn Slaughter, children and immediate family; daughter, Alicia Murphy (Donte); son, James Wilson III; father-in-law, James Wilson Sr.; mother-in-law, Geneva Wilson; her beloved grandchildren, Levi Murphy and Preston Murphy. Other relatives and friends include: uncles, Charles Slaughter, John Slaughter, James Dixon, Eugene Dixon, Kevin Midgett; aunts, Linda Hopkins, Valerie Dixon, Gloria Slaughter; cousins, Terese Johnson, Carla Glaspie, Carlton Slaughter, Azure Dixon, James Dixon, Jade Barnes, Rudy Hyman, Shannell Hopkins, Kiayonta Cooper, Da’Nia Midgett, Delvin Midgett, Desiree’ Dixon, Marcus Dixon, Sade Dixon and Ebony Jones; godson, Lonnie James Ervin III; special friends, Dawn Scott and Yolanda Franklin. Some of her other friends include Rose Scott, Monica Baker, Kiesha Coates, Tiffany Kinsler, LaShawn Brooks, Sheree Medley, Dinishia Cromwell, and too many more to mention.
